Last year I wrote a piece called ‘some riding not in july’. This is the yearly continuation of this series. If you recall from that last piece, every year I try to ride every single day that the Tour de France rides. Last year I tried to match course type each day. This year due to some injury recovery I was going through, and consequently some general lack of fitness I opted to just ride without any attempt to match. I had wanted to ride longer and more elevation this year than last, but alas, that did not happen. What pathetic little that did happen is as follows:
